We go to estate sales so you don’t have to. This is Perrywink’s Picker Perks.

You’re on the hunt for an antique mirror for above the mantel. Or perhaps you have a distinct love of copper kettles. You know items show up at estate sales, but it takes too much time to track sales dates, let alone attend to pick through the selection.

That’s where we come in.

We’re already going to estate sales, picking items to upcycle or sell at Perrywinks. Let us help you find your treasures!

Want us to keep an eye out for the items you want? Fill out the form below. We don’t guarantee to find the item, but you’ll have first dibs on anything we buy that is close to your description!

Items that you don’t want will be sold in the shop. We will not reach out to “approve” items or check before we buy, so we’ll use our best judgment in purchasing items. You have no obligation to purchase items we find. By filling out the form, it’s an informal “heads up” request.

Items we purchase will be sold to you with an 4% commission to account for our team’s labor and item transportation. All items are available for final purchase and pick-up at Perrywinks; no delivery is available. No large items please. (Ex. We can’t transport a china cabinet.)

Important details:

  • Fill out one form per item

  • Small and medium items only. This is a solo operation without a truck, so heavy items or bulky (i.e. furniture) are not feasible.

  • Items are considered Perrywinks’ property until your purchase transaction is completed.

  • We do not guarantee finding items, or guarantee a timeline. This is a "dream list," giving you extra eyes for your own search. 

  • Items will be sourced from the Dayton, Ohio area, unless we are otherwise venturing out. We do not travel on behalf of buyers.

  • Once an item is procured, we will list it in our shop as a "reserved" item. We will notify you and give you first dibs to purchase. If you are no longer interested, or the item isn't quite what you wanted, we will list it for sale to the public.

  • Note shipping depends on weight and size. We use PirateShip to get the lowest rates possible and re-use packaging to reduce costs, but small light(ish) decor items typically start at around $7 to ship, and go up from there based on weight and size. Local pickup is always available, and possible drop-offs to the Columbus or Cleveland area may be arranged on a longer timeline.

  • We take a 4 percent commission of total sale price for our efforts to find, list, package, etc. So your total will be sale price plus 4 percent commission, plus shipping (if not local). Please consider this in your budget estimation.
